The office belonged to the trade union — Pappers Local 64 in Dals Långed — and is located in the building's office section on floor 2. The room is a bright office and archive space with light-coloured walls, curtained windows and vinyl flooring. Along one wall stand tall steel shelving units filled with colour-coded binders and documents, and in one corner wooden shelves hold folded blue work shirts (Tranemo) — the stock of work clothing that was issued to members.
The walls carry the history of the labour movement. A large group photograph celebrates “Local 64 Långed, 25 Years, 1943”, surrounded by trade-union banners. Framed portraits still hang here — among them a charcoal drawing of a moustachioed pioneer — alongside a sign from the Social Democrats. A drawer is labelled “64 · AL-D-2-18”, the union local's own designation.
The noticeboard still holds the poster for the “Rexcell Open House” on 5 September — the viewing day when a 160-year industrial era in Dals Långed came to an end as the paper mill closed. The room is thus both an office and a small archive of the site's trade-union and industrial heritage.
With office-standard fittings, windows and a central location within the office section, the room is well suited as an office, archive, meeting room or association venue.
